Hitting the Ground Running

A great year and a great many things to be grateful for. I had an amazing show at Wix, with so much help from their wonderful staff. I made new cup cozies and ceramic one-of-a-kind mugs. I was pleased to annouce my newest wholesale client The Little Cupcake Bakeshop and look forward to introducing even more new clients this coming year.

2014 was pretty good to Parade of Squirrels, but 2015 is already proving to be a pretty exciting year. We have hit the ground running. This month I will be setting up a exhibition in the children's wing of the Brooklyn Heights Public Library, there are a few amazing commissions that will be posted once they have been received by their lucky people (surprise gifts are pretty exciting) and I have a new childrens book I plan to self publish this month. In fact, I have set the ambitious goal of publishing a children's picture book every other month. These books will be available through Amazon and Blurb digitally, but I will be looking at small presses for a limited run of hard copies. I will probably set up a donation page to help back this ambitious project depending on the start up cost. I will have more information on this when I learn how to use a video camera.
